Wyndham Harbour ECI role secured

14 July 2010 - BMD Constructions has successfully secured preferred proponent status for construction of Wyndham Harbour.

The selection process involved interviews and presentations from prospective contractors for the ECI (Early Contract Involvement) contract, with BMD Constructions selected as the successful proponent.

The scope of works includes the following:

  • A residential subdivision of approx 200 lots (plus an additional 120 lots subject to future rezoning) developed in stages;
  • Safe boat harbour;
  • Marina facilities including central spine with wet 1000 berths;
  • Infrastructure upgrade works;
  • Community facilities; and
  • Other associated works.

This role will lead into a design and construct contract which is expected to be valued at over $50million. An excellent team effort converted this opportunity into what will be BMD Constructions largest project delivered in Victoria in its 12 year history.
