Transcity is awarded $1.5Billion Northern Link project

21 September 2010 - BMD Constructions is pleased to announce Transcity, an integrated team comprising of BMD Constructions, Ghella and Acciona as the winning proponent for Brisbane City Council's Northern Link Project.

Transcity representative Dale Gilbert said "Transcity is delighted to be awarded the Northern Link project. The Transcity team of BMD, Ghella, and Acciona ensures we are bringing the right level of international experience, expertise and maintenance understanding, combined with local knowledge, capability and passion that can only be applied through Brisbane's own locally-based contractor."

The Northern Link design, construct, operations and maintenance project consists of two parallel twin-lane tunnels 12m in diameter and approximately 4.3 km in length linking the Centenary Motorway at Toowong to the Inner City Bypass at Kelvin Grove.
