BMD Constructions secures another project with VicRoads

27 October 2010 - Federal Infrastructure and Transport Minister, Anthony Albanese, and Victorian Roads Minister, Tim Pallas, this month announced that the contract to widen a section of the Princes Highway between Wurruk and Sale would be awarded to BMD Constructions.

Following achievement of the highest level of VicRoads prequalification, BMD Constructions has successfully secured a series of Victorian infrastructure projects including the M80 Ring Road, Calder Kings Interchange and Western Highway Ballarat.

Work on the 4.4km section of the Princes Highway is set to commence in December 2010 and be completed by late 2012.

Major works on the project include six new highway bridges, strengthening and widening of existing bridges, installation of three roundabouts, and construction of a new pedestrian bridge over the Thomson River.
